Mental Health is a life long battle to overcome emotions

Mental health does not mean living a life free of unhappiness, fear, anger or self-doubt. These emotional states are an inescapable characteristic to the mood swings happening to every human being. For teenager development, parents need to make sure to build self-esteem and teach them how to express and manage their emotions. People are in fact face lots of pressure from outside to be perfect and it is making it harder for parents and children to figure out what separate a real mental health problem from the everyday emotional stressful environment. Parents need to help their kids build self- confidence by praising their behavior and avoiding unwanted criticism. Encourage children to help others to strengthen their ability to being a confident person. Also encourage them to take an interest in extra-curricular hobbies other than education during schools or college days. Sports, cooking can help take mind of pressure kids feel in school. Doing participation in interest protects a child’s self-confidence in their ability to handle tough situations. If a kid starts to pursue healthy activity at the young age can make them feel happy and satisfied by encourage them to help others. For kids who don’t like face-to-face talk, try other ways to have a communication. Some children respond to kind emails from their parents. Others are more talkative when strapped to the back seat of a car, avoiding the embarrassment of direct eye contact, and if a parent wants her teenage child to talk, the child You may need to be together more often so you can do it when your partner is talking. They can be volatile and stubborn, but teens usually like their parents and feel at ease when adults know where they are. Another way to encourage emotional expression: Own your own mistakes. For example, if your child is gossiping with a friend about something personal that they shared with you and they find out, correct the mistake the right way. Apologize for betraying the other person’s trust, explain why you did it, take responsibility, vow never to chat again, offer to make amends, ask for forgiveness.
